“Thai Massage is Medical Massage
As a graduate of the Swedish Institute and has completed many additional courses of study in Thailand and continually in the US, I feel extremely well equipped and excited at the prospect of working with you. Beginning in 2007, I have dedicated my massage practice to this singular modality. Thai massage is all I want to do.
Ever since Reinhold was introduced to his own creativity back in 1990, he has pursued his passion through woodworking, painting, building guitars, and playing music. However, once he discovered Thai Massage, he found it to be the best way to express his sense of adventure, humor, spontaneity, and enthusiasm.
Through the power of Thai Massage, Reinhold experienced a remarkable transformation over a period of 15 years. Despite having a trucker body weighing 280 lbs. and being unable to squat or crawl on the floor when he started his profession, he was able to improve his mobility and overall health with the aid of Thai Massage. From the first treatment, he had a strong sense of what makes this modality more effective. Nowadays, due to practicing bodywork, receiving therapy regularly, teaching Thai Massage, and practicing Tai’ Chi and Qi Gong, Reinhold has slimmed down, limbered up, and overcome 25 years of chronic back pain, not to mention the increased range of motion and comfort within the body that he now enjoys.

Here is an example of a modern-day Thai Massage practice in New York City.

Thai Massage is a practice that is embraced by a 58-year-old former long-haul truck driver, musician, and guitar builder. He has been practicing Thai Massage since 2008 and currently operates a studio in Union Square, Manhattan. In 2014, he expanded his expertise by taking on the role of a teacher sharing his knowledge with others. In addition to teaching, he is also focused on building a team of therapists whom he personally trains.
