For Licensed Therapists:

What you get:

The instructor will be providing a live demo during the entire interval so you will not need to look at notes or decipher pictures while you work and you are not expected to remember the lessons from the class. bring that friend or loved one along, and you can take turns working on each other with the Instructor serving as a model to help you to set up the positions while helping you understand what makes Thai Massage distinct from other modalities.

...what if I am interested in receiving the 1 hr. treatment but I have no intentions of learning how to do it?

bring yourself, your clean bedsheet and your intake form and get a 1 hour Thai Massage from one of our Licensed Massage Therapists while the Instructor serves as a model and helps the students with all aspects of the sequence while they practice.

Get a Thai Massage: Thai massage is believed to have been developed by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, physician to Buddha, more than 2,500 years ago in India. In a round about way, it made its way to Thailand, where the Ayurvedic techniques and principles gradually became influenced by traditional Chinese medicine and practices of the indigonous people who already lived there before the Thai. For centuries, Thai massage was performed by monks as one of many Thai medicine tools. Now you can experience Thai Massage at CATA.

Extra Benefit For Licensed Massage Therapists:

Enhance the collection of techniques that you are already using by adding these unique movements to your practice. Are you someone who finished a Thai Massage course a long time ago and it is getting hard to remember everything that you were exposed to in that short period of time? This may be just the thing for you.

Follow along with a live demo: You don't have to watch a video or follow your notes. Your instructors will help you as you go.

Consistent exposure Yields Results: Learn the craft and artistry by regularly experiencing the work from both perspectives. Where can you get a massage from a licensed therapist for $50? We pair you up with someone who has done thier homework. You retain more by completing the feedback loop... having it done to you and practicing how to do it, in the same day.
